Remembering the Tragic Legacy of Hillsborough's 97th Victim and the Need for Justice
Hillsborough's 97th Victim
For so many years we have been saying, and fighting for, Justice For The 96. But, sadly, in July 2021, a 97th victim was claimed. A Liverpool fan, who suffered life-changing injuries at Hillsborough on that fateful, 15th April 1989, has died, 32 years later on. The official cause of death announced him as being a victim of the disaster. A coroner officially recorded him as being the 97th victim.
Andrew Devine, 55, was badly hurt in the tragedy at the FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest on 15 April 1989. He spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair and needed constant professional care.
Rest In Peace, Andrew. You'll Never Walk Alone. Forever in our hearts and our thoughts.
