This 2019/20 season is well worthy of a page of its own. Why's that you may think? As you are on a Liverpool FC website I doubt it if you don't know why this season is so special. So special to warrant a page dedicated to this particular season.

It is, of course, the season that Liverpool FC have clinched title Number 19. And what a season it has been. We have clinched the season with seven games to spare. Chelsea beat our nearest rivals, Manchester City, 2-1 on Thursday 25th June 2020.

This meant that with seven games to go, Liverpool had an unassailable 23 points lead at the top of the Premier League. An incredible achievement in anyone's book. We came so close last season and many thought that was our best chance gone.

But this team has so much character and spirit - epitomised by the enigmatic, legendary manager, Jurgen Klopp - we were not to be denied this time around. Without a doubt we thoroughly deserved our title win. Even a global pandemic could not deny us. When it's safe we will hopefully be able to celebrate properly around the Fields Of Anfield Road.
